Life Recovery Program

Homeless people are informed of the Life Recovery Program (or Lodger Program) at intake. Once Lodgers voluntarily enter the program, they must comply with the rules of the program. The core of the Life Recovery Program consists of the following:

⇒ Three weeks of assisting around the Mission. New Lodgers are not allowed to leave the property without permission.
⇒ Lodgers must start to look for a job after their first three weeks as they continue to assit the mission when not at work.
⇒ Bible study and education classes are mandatory while not at work as well. Lodgers also continue to assist at the Mission while not at work.
⇒ Lodgers must cooperate with staff at all times.

Educational Classes

Here is our current class schedule:

Mondays at 7:30 am, Bible study
Tuesdays at 6:00 pm, Celebrate Recovery (addiction recovery) / dinner and class
Wednesdays at 7:30 am, Bible study
Wednesdays at 1:00 pm, Overcomers: A Daily Choice (addiction recovery) (Starting in late May, 2025)
Thursdays at 2:00 pm, Job searches in the computer lab
Thursdays at 3:00 pm, Job skill training
Fridays at 3:00 pm, Job skill training

Assisting at the Mission

As mentioned above, all Lodgers must assit at the Mission after entering the Life Recovery Program. Keeping up the grounds, cleaning, chorses and assiting in the food bank are part of the Life Recovery Program.
