Serving Walker County in Huntsville, Texas

The Good Shepherd Mission has been sheltering individuals and families since 1983 as a faith based ministry. The primary building was built in 1988. This building includes the men's dorms, a dining room, kitchen, offices, a kitchen and the food-bank. Across the street is our thrift store. We also have a building to the south with two family units, women's dooms, a computer lab and an education room.

Although we are a faith based ministry, we serve people from all walks of life without discrimination to race or creed. Our staff works diligently to ensure that people in the community and lodgers of Good Shepherd Mission are served to the best of our abilities. We strive to be a trusted resource in our community.
