Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are essential to the daily operations of the Good Shepherd Mission. There are a variety of meaningful ways for both individuals and groups to get involved.
High-Priority Need: Front Desk Support
One of our greatest current needs is assistance with data entry at the front desk. Volunteers are especially needed Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
If you're interested in helping at the front desk, please speak with a case manager or the director to get started.
Current Volunteer Projects
In addition to front desk support, there are several other helpful projects currently needed at the Mission:
• Organizing donated items
• Assisting in the kitchen
• Facility maintenance tasks
Drywall and Trim Work
We have a couple of small drywall and trim work projects.

Videographer and Video Editor
One should know how to capture and edit professional sound and video. One should know how to color balance video shots and understand Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro well.

Build a small permanent, level slab for our generator.
We need an experienced handyman to build a small level slab for our generator that powers our freezer when the power is out.
